A message from a former high school classmate:

Hello all my Facebook Family and Friends! Good Morning!! This is by far, one of the most difficult posts I have had to make yet!
I am searching for a Living Kidney Donor!
If you have a healthy pair, are you willing to share? ![]()
Just a few months ago, I was diagnosed with CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) Stage 4 along with FSGS (Focal Segmental Glomerular Sclerosis). FSGS is a disease in which scar tissue develops on the glomeruli, the small parts of the kidneys that filter waste from the blood. FSGS can be caused by a variety of conditions.
My disease has contributed to kidney failure, which can only be treated with dialysis or kidney transplant.
Please consider becoming my Living Kidney Donor today. For more information, or if you are willing to donate, please call the Living Donor Kidney Transplant Program at Nebraska Medicine: (402) 559-8000 or (800) 401-4444
Or visit their website to fill out an online screening form. All donor information will be kept completely confidential.
To see if you are a match for me or someone else that may be have someone that is a match for me through a cross-match:
Click on Donate your Kidney. Then apply to become a living kidney donor.
Under Intended Recipient, enter Katherine L Langan, and 8/22/1979.
If you are willing to share your spare, I have no words to describe how thankful I would be. Please share this post on social media platforms as much as you can!
